Fixed pricing
Fixed pricing is a pricing model where a single predefined amount is charged, regardless of the exact duration within the defined rule.
It is designed for situations where parking or facility usage does not require duration-based calculation.
In fixed pricing:
- A single price is defined.
- The charge does not change based on time within the configured rule.
- The system applies the fixed amount automatically when conditions are met.
For example:
- Flat day parking → ₹200
- Event parking (per entry) → ₹150
- Full-day commercial parking → ₹300
If a vehicle qualifies under the fixed rule, the same price applies whether it stays 1 hour or 8 hours (based on how the tier is configured).
Where fixed pricing is used
Fixed pricing can be configured in:
- Vehicle parking rates
- Parking passes
- Facility pricing models
It is commonly used for:
- Full-day parking
- Event-based parking
- Overnight parking
- Subscription-based access
- Flat facility usage charges
Where fixed pricing is configured
Fixed pricing is defined inside:

When to use fixed pricing
Fixed pricing works best when:
- You want simple, predictable billing
- Duration does not significantly impact cost
- Operators need fast checkout processing
- Pricing must remain consistent across sessions
Important notes
- Fixed pricing applies a single charge per configured tier.
- It does not calculate progressive or incremental time.
- It can be combined with slab tiers in hybrid pricing models.
- Updates to fixed pricing affect future sessions only.
Fixed pricing simplifies billing in controlled environments and is ideal for structured, flat-fee parking scenarios.
