Not every vehicle that enters your parking is the same, a car, a bike, a bus, and an ambulance all need to be treated differently.
SISTEM is built around this, letting you define the vehicle types your parking actually accepts, and how many of each it can hold.
SISTEM manages multi-type vehicles
A vehicle type is simply a category of vehicle your parking supports such as Car, Bike, Bus, Auto-rickshaw, EV, and many others. SISTEM supports a wide range of vehicle types out of the box, so whatever your parking handles, there’s very likely already a type for it.
You don’t need to configure every type SISTEM offers only the ones that are actually relevant to your parking. A residential basement might only need Car and Bike, while an airport might need a much wider mix.

Flexible vehicle capacity management
Capacity is simply the maximum number of a given vehicle type your parking can hold at once. It’s set separately for each vehicle type so a parking might allow 200 cars, 150 bikes, and 5 buses, all independently of one another.
This keeps things realistic. Capacity is what tells SISTEM and your operators when a particular vehicle type’s space is full, so vehicles aren’t let in beyond what the parking can actually accommodate.
Capacity can scale up and down as per business needs
Capacity isn’t a fixed number you set once and forget. It’s meant to move with your business:
- When business scales up, more demand, added space, a busy season, you can increase capacity for any vehicle type at any time.
- When business scales down, reduced space, a quieter season, fewer available spots, you can lower capacity just as easily.

There’s no need to rebuild your setup to make this change. You simply update the number, and SISTEM reflects it immediately.
Why This Matters
Getting vehicle types and capacity right early on makes everything downstream easier:
- Pricing depends on it — a vehicle type needs its capacity defined before its rates can be configured.
- Availability depends on it — capacity is what prevents overbooking a vehicle type’s space.
- Reporting depends on it — accurate capacity numbers make occupancy and utilization reports genuinely useful, instead of misleading.
Things to Keep in Mind
- Only configure the vehicle types your parking actually handles there’s no need to set up ones you don’t.
- Capacity can be updated anytime, in either direction, as your business changes.
- Once a vehicle type’s capacity is reached, SISTEM restricts further entries of that type until space frees up.
- Some vehicle types — trucks, buses, ambulances may come with local compliance or permit requirements worth considering when setting capacity.
In Simple Words
Different vehicles need different rules, and SISTEM lets you define exactly that one vehicle type at a time, each with its own capacity. And because that capacity can move up or down whenever your business does, your parking never has to be reconfigured just because things got busier, or quieter.
