How to enable/disable Two Factor Authentication

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an additional layer of security to your SISTEM account. When enabled, you need to verify your identity using a verification code in addition to your password.

You can enable or disable 2FA from My Profile.

Why Two-Factor Authentication Is Important

Your SISTEM account may provide access to parking operations, organization settings, payments, transactions, reports, and other information based on your assigned permissions.

2FA helps protect your account from unauthorized access. Even if someone obtains your password, they will also need the verification code to complete authentication.

This helps protect:

Your SISTEM account from unauthorized access.
Organization and parking information.
Parking operations and configuration.
Payment and transaction-related information.
Actions available to your account based on your permissions.

How Two-Factor Authentication Works

2FA uses two factors to authenticate your account:

Password + Verification Code → Account Access

Your password is the first authentication factor. The verification code provides the additional factor needed to confirm your identity.

Before You Start

Make sure you have access to the verification method associated with your SISTEM account so you can receive the verification code.

How to Enable Two-Factor Authentication

Go to My Profile.
Find Two-Factor Authentication.
Select Enable.
SISTEM will trigger a verification code.
Enter the verification code.
Select Verify.

Once the code is verified successfully, Two-Factor Authentication is enabled for your account.

How to Disable Two-Factor Authentication

If you no longer want to use 2FA:

Go to My Profile.
Find Two-Factor Authentication.
Select Disable.
Confirm that you want to disable 2FA.

Once disabled, your account will no longer require the additional 2FA verification.

Important Things to Know

2FA is configured for your individual SISTEM account.
You must successfully verify the code to enable 2FA.
Keep access to the verification method associated with your account.
Never share your verification code with anyone.
If you receive a verification code you did not request, do not share or use it.
Disabling 2FA reduces the additional security protection on your account.

Next Steps

Once 2FA is enabled, continue using SISTEM as usual. When authentication requires additional verification, enter the verification code to confirm your identity and access your account.
